Amazon isn’t done with Amazon Prime Day just yet. And if you’re looking for continued Prime Day knife deals, you’ll find them here. Just as the retailer did last year, it’s following up its massive summer sale with an event they’re calling Prime Big Deal Days (aka Amazon Prime Day part two).
Most of the discounts on, not just knives, but cookware and appliances like air fryers, coffee makers, or Kitchenaid mixers, won’t be live until the event itself starts. However, there are lower prices from a number of prominent knife makers including Japanese knife giant Shun, Zwilling, and a frequent budget favorite around here, Mercer.
We’ll note here that knife deals can be particularly difficult to parse on Amazon. We covered why in depth in our piece testing a number of the most popular (and most frequently discounted) knife brands that appear on Amazon, but the bottom line is that there are a lot of attractive knives that appear toward the top of Amazon search results that are mass-produced, primarily from a single city in China. Some worked well when we tested them, some did not. That’s why we’re making sure to only include discounts on from knife makers we’ve tried and we trust.
One other thing to know: Unlike Amazon Prime Day deals, a lot of the early kitchen deals available right now don’t require an Amazon Prime membership. Come Big Deal Days though, they will.
